Map scaling fix

Hi again,

a very small hotfix for the build yesterday. This should make the scaling of the 2D maps align a lot better with the game maps.

You can get the new build here.

Changelog:

  • Fixed 2D map scale factor
  • Removed some exit code that crashed sometimes

    3. sry just read in FAQ:
This can happen if you have the transparency effects turned off in Windows 7, probably because you're using the classic theme for Windows. Turning on Aero should fix the problem.

  2. How to disable in-game trails in TACO? Doesn't seem to work. I can disable trails for mini-map and/or map, but disabling in-game trails have no effect for some reason. Any fix?

  3. I have an idea for a gw2 mod I’d pay you for! I was just curious if it’s possible. Email me at hollowleon84@gmail.com if you get this! :)

    1. Not currently, that value is hardcoded in the shader inputs. I put it on the todo.

  5. First of all, I'd like to thank you for making this awesome tool.

I was scrolling through the ToDo list and realized that the bug with achievement bits and the API is not present.

This bug goes as follows. When adding an API key.
Finishing any bit of an achievement will hide all markers of that achievement. Even when not having it fully completed yet.

This has also been put on the gw2taco reactif pack front page for quite a while now. So I was really curious why it wasn't in the ToDo list. I now assume they may have forgotten to report it as a bug.

    1. What do you mean "moving with the camera"? That's kind of the point?

  7. TacO shouldn't affect the stability of the GW2 client in any way, all the APIs that are used are read-only so TacO couldn't affect the game if it tried to. Sounds like a general system stability issue that might be caused by several hw accelerated applications running at the same time.

    1. You'll need to download a marker pack like the one created by Tekkit. TacO is only a platform, it only comes with a limited set of markers on its own.
